How to Reset a User's Password on TaskPilot

Help team members reset their password easily through TaskPilot. Follow these five steps to reset a user's password.

If a team member needs to reset their password, you can easily help them through TaskPilot. Follow these steps to reset a user's password:

Step 1: Go to the Team Section

Log in to your TaskPilot account and navigate to the sidebar menu on the left. Click on Team and then select Users from the dropdown menu. This will take you to the page where you can manage all your users.

Step 2: Find the User

On the App Users page, scroll through the list to find the user who needs a password reset.

Step 3: Hover and Edit

Once you’ve located the user, hover over their name to see the Edit button appear on the right. Click the Edit button to open the user’s profile.

Step 4: Reset the Password

In the pop-up modal that appears, find and click the Reset Password button. A confirmation window will pop up. Confirm that you want to reset the password.

Step 5: Copy Password Reset Link

After confirming, a password reset link will be generated. Copy this link and provide it to the user. Finally, make sure to save the changes, and you're done.
