How to Edit Summary in the Approved Task

Creating tasks on TaskPilot is an organized and efficient process. Here’s how you can create a task step by step:

Step 1: Navigate to the Workflow Section

Log in to your TaskPilot account. In the sidebar menu on the left, click on Workflow and select Tasks from the dropdown menu. Once you are in the Tasks section, look at the top of the page where several tabs are displayed. Click on the Approved tab to see only those tasks that have received approval. Scroll through the list of approved tasks or use the filter function to find the specific task you need to edit.

Step 2: Open Task Details

Hover your cursor over the task you wish to update. As you do this, an Information icon will appear on the right side of the task. Click on this Information icon to open a modal window that displays the task details.

In the top left of the modal window, click on the three-dot dropdown menu and select the Edit Summary option. This action will switch the task information into edit mode, allowing you to make the necessary changes to the task summary.

Step 3: Edit the Summary

Make the required updates to the task summary. Ensure that all modifications are accurate and reflect the current information you need to convey. After completing your edits, look for the option to Exit Edit Mode within the modal. Clicking this option will save your changes and close the editing interface.
