How to Create, Edit, or Delete Product Required

Products Required in TaskPilot are items that need to be specified for a task, either by a manager or an app user. These products can be essential for the completion of a task, such as an additive required for grass treatment. Managing these items effectively ensures that all necessary resources are accounted for before tasks begin. 

This guide will help you through the process of creating new products, editing existing ones, and deleting those that are no longer needed, ensuring that your task requirements are always up to date and accurately recorded.

Navigate to the Implements Section

Log in to your TaskPilot account. In the sidebar menu on the left, click on Resources and select Products Required from the dropdown menu.

Creating a New Product Required

Navigate to the Products Required page and click on the blue ‘+’ button situated in the top right corner. This action will open a modal where you should provide the necessary general and invoicing details for the required product. Once all fields are completed, click Add Product Required to save your new entry.

Editing a Product Required

Scroll through the list or sort by the Name column to locate the product required that you want to edit. Hover over the row with the product’s name to reveal the Edit icon on the right. Click the Edit icon to open a modal where you can update the product’s information. After making the necessary changes, click Save to apply the updates.

Deleting a Product Required

Scroll through the list or sort by the Name column to locate the product required that you want to delete. Hover over the product’s name to reveal the Delete icon on the right. Click the Delete icon, and a confirmation window will appear. Confirm that you want to archive the record, and it will be removed from your list of products required.
