How to Add an Invoice from TaskPilot to Your Xero Account

Ensure your accounts are connected, then follow these steps to add an invoice from TaskPilot to Xero.

Integrating your TaskPilot account with Xero allows you to streamline your financial management by syncing invoices directly between the two platforms. Before proceeding, ensure that your TaskPilot account is connected to Xero. If not, follow this guide to set up the connection. Once connected, follow these steps to add an invoice from TaskPilot to Xero:

Log in and Navigate to the Invoicing Section

Start by logging into your TaskPilot account with your credentials. In the left-side menu bar, go to the Dashboard section. From the dropdown menu, select the Invoicing tab to access your list of invoices.

Select the Invoice to Add

Locate the invoice you want to add to Xero. Hover over the invoice, and an Edit icon will appear. Click on this icon to proceed with editing the invoice.

Update the Invoice in Xero

Within the invoice editing screen, find and click the Update in Xero button on the right side. A pop-up modal will appear for confirmation. If you do not want to see this pop-up message in the future, you can tick the Don’t ask again box before confirming.

Open the Invoice in Xero

After the update, refresh the page and click on the Open in Xero button. This action will take you directly to the Xero platform, where the selected invoice will now be visible.

Review the Invoice in Xero

Once in Xero, you’ll see the selected invoice in the Xero database. You can click on the invoice to review all relevant details, ensuring that everything has synced correctly between TaskPilot and Xero.
